  • 1 pack of Kioene Garden Vegetable veggie drops
  • 2 thick slices of stale Tuscan bread
  • 200 g mixed cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tablespoons of pitted Tuscan olives
  • ½ red onion
  • a tuft of basil
  • 50 ml red vinegar
  • olive oil to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

METHOD

Cook the garden vegetable veggie drops as indicated on the package.
Meanwhile peel the cucumber and slice it, wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half, slice the onion (if you want to make it sweeter, soak it in cold water and salt for 10 minutes then rinse and dry it well).
Mix 50 ml vinegar with 50 ml water and soak the breadcrumbs cut into pieces.
Combine the cucumbers, tomatoes, bread, onion and olives in a bowl and season with oil, salt and pepper.
Add the garden vegetable veggie drops, garnish with basil leaves and serve.
